The purpose of the Oregon Catholic Historical Society is to promote, collect, record, publish and generally to encourage interest in and study of the history of the Catholic Church in Oregon and the Roman Catholic heritage of the Pacific Northwest.

Membership is open to any individual or organization interested in the study of the history of the Catholic Church in Oregon.
